The Community of the Sisters of Saint Maurice is present in Switzerland and in Madagascar. Their vocation of praise, witness and fraternal life, in contact with the men and women of the times, is lived out in a variety of situations. At La Pelouse, as elsewhere, the Community offers the possibility to share in its silent prayer and its liturgical celebrations.
At La Pelouse, the Sisters of Saint Maurice welcome individual guests and groups of children, young people, adults and families for periods of rest, retreats, sessions, seminars. They also offer various forms of spiritual, biblical and cultural training for all ages.
The CRPL, set up by the Swiss Bishops in 1966 and located at La Pelouse since 1997, has as its mandate to inform and train priests and lay people in the fields of liturgy and the sacraments. It participates in similar tasks in the other French-speaking countries, particularly in the preparation of the official liturgical books and in collaboration with specialised publications.
The ABC is at the service of biblical pastoral care in the French-speaking part of Switzerland, through sessions, training of monitors and the accompanying of biblical study groups as well as at biblical publications, correspondence courses, day and evening classes… Its aim is to make the relation between University hermeneutic research and the people of God; it places itself at the disposal of present-day communities in order to awaken a love for the Word of God.
